Responsibilities:
As an Administrative Coordinator, you will:
- Process and verify shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Provide quality customer service by making phone calls and sending emails to centralized customer service teams.
- Schedule delivery appointments by phone and email, ensuring that all logistical operations run smoothly.
- Bill accessorial and additional fees as necessary.
- Manage group email boxes and respond to queue calls when required.
- Receive and log calls from drivers who cannot deliver freight, documenting all necessary details for follow-up.
- Conduct administrative tasks such as scanning, photocopying, and faxing.
- Audit shipping documents for accuracy and report any issues to supervisors for corrective actions.
- Understand and enforce Federal Transportation Compliance, reporting any non-compliance issues.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Education: Minimum secondary education. Post-secondary education (completed or currently enrolled) is preferred, or equivalent experience in administration and transportation.
- Experience: Previous experience in transportation or operational roles is preferred. While experience with AS400 is not required, it is considered an asset. Administrative experience, particularly in customer service, logistics, or transportation roles, will be beneficial.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word, is required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
- Work Environment: Must be able to work in a high-transaction, fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. The ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team setting is critical for success in this role.
