Responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you will play a vital role in our projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Data Analytics: Utilize your 6-8 years of experience to analyze, profile, clean, and validate data, ensuring high quality and accuracy.
- Agile Collaboration: Work effectively in cross-functional teams, communicating and negotiating with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to meet project needs.
- Innovative Solutions: Think creatively to design solutions that address business challenges and enhance data integration processes.
- SQL Expertise: Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis and reporting.
- Data Lake Management: Contribute to large-scale Enterprise Data Lake ingestion and extraction projects using tools like Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, and Synapse/SQL Server.
- Modeling Techniques: Apply your knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling techniques to structure data effectively.
- Metadata Management: Manage metadata principles, writing definitions and ensuring compliance with data security classifications and risk assessment guidelines.
- Project Facilitation: Lead project meetings to interpret business needs, develop requirements, and document user stories for the development team.
- Legacy Systems Support: Provide support for legacy applications, aiding in their migration using Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.
- Feasibility Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies, project scoping, and provide estimates for project work.
- Reporting: Regularly report on progress, raise concerns to project management, and propose mitigation strategies as needed.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Experience: 6-8 years in business analysis, specifically in data analytics and integration.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and strong knowledge of Python, Tableau, and Power BI.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical, organizational, and technical skills to interpret and model data effectively.
- Development Methodologies: Familiarity with Solutions Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies including agile, waterfall, and iterative processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to prioritize and address changing requirements in a fast-paced environment.
