Accounting Clerk

What You’ll Do
As an Accounting Clerk, your daily tasks will include:

  • Recording Transactions: Accurately record and classify all financial transactions for the company, ensuring all entries are precise and timely.
  • Maintaining Financial Records: Keep detailed and accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and various financial statements, to support the company’s accounting practices.
  • Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements and other financial records to ensure they align with the company’s books, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Generating Reports: Prepare essential financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to assist management in making informed decisions.
  • Managing Accounts: Oversee the company’s accounts payable and receivable processes, which includes invoicing customers, tracking payments, and ensuring timely bill payments.

What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a bookkeeper, accounting coordinator, or in a similar role.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including a solid grasp of debits and credits.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial tasks.
