Coach Agile (Senior)

As a Senior Agile Coach, you will play a key role in integrating agile practices within our organization and with our business partners. This position involves developing agile tools and methods tailored to our context, implementing transformation strategies, and training leaders and teams to adopt an agile and strategic approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and adapt agile tools to meet organizational needs.
  • Serve as an expert to promote agile frameworks and advise leadership on strategic directions.
  • Ensure continuous transformation and improvement of work practices.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, project management, and stakeholders to foster the adoption of agile principles.
  • Participate in the agile transformation of project management processes (planning, monitoring, reporting, cost).
  • Synchronize multiple agile teams using methods like Scrum of Scrums.
  • Advise partners and clients on implementing SAFe trains and multi-team synchronization.
  • Define and implement a Lean portfolio for technology projects, introducing new prioritization mechanisms at the corporate level.
  • Facilitate the adoption of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Organize and lead training sessions on agile principles.
  • Provide ongoing support to teams to enhance their performance and productivity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve barriers to agility.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented agile practices.
  • Develop the skills of leaders and team members, coordinating training and coaching in Lean-Agile approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 12 years in information technology, with at least 8 years in an agile framework, including 5 years in IT.
  • Agile Coaching: At least 600 person-days in senior agile coaching roles over the last 5 years, with significant projects (minimum 200 days per project).
  • Training Experience: Proven experience in delivering training as a Scrum Master or agile coach, including at least three training sessions of over 20 person-days.
  • Management Coaching: Experience coaching managers in at least three distinct projects.
  • Certification: SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification is required.
  • Sector Experience: At least 12 months of agile coaching experience in the public or parapublic sector in Quebec, or in the private sector in Quebec.
