Service Advisor

Point S Canada is seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join our team in Vaudreuil-Dorion. In this role, you will act as a crucial liaison between our customers and mechanics, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience. Responsibilities

  • Schedule maintenance service appointments and gather essential information from customers.
  • Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assess their vehicle needs.
  • Listen to and analyze customer concerns, explaining necessary repairs and providing cost estimates.
  • Accurately document vehicle issues on repair orders.
  • Recommend preventive maintenance options to enhance vehicle performance.
  • Prepare invoices based on completed work orders.
  • Clearly explain the nature of work performed and related costs to customers.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as managing appointments and processing payments.
  • Facilitate communication between technicians and customers.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships and loyalty.
  • Follow up with customers to evaluate their satisfaction with services.
  • Research and order necessary vehicle parts for repairs; manage returns of non-compliant parts.
  • Assign tasks to mechanics according to their availability and expertise.

Qualifications

  • DEP in Technical Advising (an asset).
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the automotive field or strong automotive knowledge (an asset).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer tools.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for customer service and sales.
  • Self-motivated, versatile, organized, and able to work well in a team.
