Enterprise Account Executive at Coconut Software

You will oversee the entire sales process, from identifying potential leads to closing deals. Responsibilities

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Coconut Software, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Manage the Sales Process: You will take charge of managing prospects from the initial lead to closing the sale, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
  • Communicate Our Value: Articulate and demonstrate Coconut’s value proposition effectively, generating enthusiasm among prospects about our products.
  • Understand Customer Needs: Conduct thorough research to listen to and analyze customer feedback, allowing you to understand their unique requirements fully.
  • Present Product Demos: Create and deliver engaging product demonstrations and proposals that highlight the specific value Coconut can provide to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Sales, and Sales Engineers to develop strategies that will drive sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate Contracts: Handle contract negotiations with customers to successfully close sales deals.
  • Meet Sales Goals: Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets within your designated accounts.
  • Maintain Pipeline Management: Keep your sales pipeline accurate and up-to-date in Salesforce, ensuring timely follow-ups and interactions.
  • Stay Informed: Keep abreast of competitive trends and developments in key vertical industries to find innovative ways to connect with decision-makers.
  • Attend Events: Represent Coconut Software at conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand our reach and build relationships.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: A cumulative total of 10 years of proven full-cycle sales experience, including at least 5 years in Enterprise SaaS sales.
  • Understanding Large Organizations: Experience selling into large buyer groups with multiple stakeholders.
  • Curiosity and Thoughtfulness: A genuine interest in understanding how our software can create significant business impacts for clients.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving annual revenue targets of over $1M.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
  • Exceeding Goals: A history of consistently surpassing target goals and expectations.
  • Travel Willingness: Able to travel weekly or monthly as necessary to meet with Coconut teams and prospective clients (a valid passport is required).
  • Ethical Standards: Strong ethics and integrity in your approach to customer relations and business practices.
  • Financial Industry Knowledge: Experience in or selling to the financial sector is a plus.
