As an Intermediate Architect, you will play a vital role in shaping the architectural landscape of our community. Key Responsibilities
- Support team members with various architectural tasks.
- Prepare programming space for studies and projects.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and legal requirements.
- Develop working drawings using Revit.
- Assist in preparing drawing submissions, building permits, and various construction administration tasks.
- Participate in deficiency reviews, site details, and site visits as required.
- Review shop drawings and submittals.
- Contribute to various tasks that align with AIBC internship goals.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be eligible to register with the AIBC program.
- Education: M.Arch in Architecture from an institution recognized by AIBC/CACB.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in an office setting.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Revit.
- Excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience in physical model making.
- Skills in computer rendering and digital visualization.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the BC Building Code.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and enthusiasm for teamwork.
- Well-organized with good interpersonal skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Valid driver’s license.
- A desire to build a career in architecture.
Salary Range
$70,000 – $80,000
