This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a mid-level lawyer with 2-4 years of experience in debt finance, offering unmatched exposure to high-profile transactions.

Responsibilities
As a Debt Finance Lawyer, you will:
- Advise lenders and borrowers on complex credit facilities, loan agreements, and other financing transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of loan documents, including security agreements, term sheets, and covenants.
- Collaborate with other legal teams and professionals across departments on cross-border transactions and syndicated loans.
- Ensure all transactions comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage multiple financing projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Communicate with clients to provide legal guidance on financing options and address any risks or concerns throughout the process.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- 2-4 years of experience representing borrowers or lenders in financing transactions.
- Strong knowledge of debt finance structures and experience with credit agreements, loan facilities, and security documentation.
- Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team-based environment.
- Licensed to practice law in Ontario and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
