Responsibilities
As a Clerk, Receiving & Return to Vendor, your main responsibilities will include:
- Inventory Management:
- Receive all product deliveries and maintain inventory flow on store shelves, including sorting and unpacking products.
- Operate a forklift to transport products to appropriate areas.
- Delivery Coordination:
- Schedule deliveries and shipments, authorize unscheduled deliveries, and ensure space availability for incoming products.
- Accuracy & Documentation:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory received and related administrative documents.
- Complete Return to Vendor (RTV) duties and communicate with vendors as necessary.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other store teams regarding merchandise movement and delivery inquiries.
- Order parts for various products as needed.
- General Tasks:
- Perform other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Experience:
- Operating forklifts or power equipment (lifts, order pickers, etc.).
- Inventory handling and stocking in a warehouse or retail environment.
- Physical Ability:
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds daily without assistance.
- Mathematical Skills:
- Basic arithmetic skills, including addition and subtraction.
- Adaptability:
- Ability to work under challenging conditions such as extreme cold, heat, or inclement weather.
