Regional Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Regional Sales Manager – Representative Agencies to join our team. The ideal candidate will be based in the Greater Toronto area. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving sales growth of all Symmons products and managing key relationships with wholesalers, contractors, designers, and owners in the region. Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Lead a team of indirect agency representatives responsible for Symmons product sales in your region.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and expand the customer base by developing and coaching representatives, building rapport with key customers, and identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Sales Objectives: Achieve sales objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Regional Planning: Build regional plans, manage pipeline projects, and execute tactics to achieve sales goals.
  • Quote Management: Analyze customer requirements to create accurate and competitive quotes for Symmons products using the quote tool for cost calculations, margins, and pricing strategies.
  • Documentation: Prepare and present detailed quote documentation, including breakdowns of costs, timelines, and terms and conditions. Follow up on project deliveries.
  • Product Representation: Effectively represent Symmons with a comprehensive knowledge of our offerings.
  • Database Management: Utilize Salesforce to manage customer interactions and update the database regularly.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of sales management experience in a corporate setting with a proven record of success in the entire sales process, from inception to closing.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize client visits with excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
  • Customer Service Skills: Proven customer service, negotiation, and sales skills.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and travel overnight 30-50% of the time.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Multitasking: Ability and desire to manage multiple tasks effectively.
