Responsibilities
As a Sales Account Manager, your main duties will include:
- Merchant Portfolio Growth: Expand Flexiti’s merchant portfolio across Canada by seeking new prospect partners and responding to incoming sales leads from our website and existing referrals.
- Lead Assessment: Filter and evaluate incoming sales leads to identify the best opportunities for selling Flexiti’s financing solutions, both in-store and online.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants and internal stakeholders, including Operations, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Support teams.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work with merchants to support our marketing initiatives, ensuring they effectively promote Flexiti to their customers across all channels.
- Engagement Content Delivery: Ensure compliance and quality of all merchant relationships and marketing materials through strategic engagement content and contact strategies.
- KPI Monitoring: Collaborate with support departments to meet KPIs related to onboarding new merchant partners and act as an escalation point for post-sales client issues.
- Payment Expertise: Position yourself as a payment expert within the merchant’s organization, gaining a deep understanding of competitive offerings and advocating for Flexiti’s products.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fluent in both English and French.
- Executive Interaction: Comfortable engaging with C-level executives.
- Home Office Setup: A well-established home office for remote work.
- Travel Capability: Willingness to travel across Canada to meet prospective merchants.
- Commercial Acumen: Ability to identify opportunities and propose proactive solutions.
- Sales Experience: Over 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in fintech or financial services.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build relationships across various organizations and departments.
- Analytical Thinking: Curiosity combined with analytical skills, creative thinking, and initiative.
- Detail Orientation: Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce and Power BI is advantageous.
- Productivity Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure.
- Educational Background: A university degree is required.
