Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership:
Lead the sales team to achieve short, medium, and long-term objectives for new and pre-owned vehicle sales. - Sales Strategy:
Develop and implement sales plans to meet monthly and annual goals, focusing on high conversion rates from leads to sales. - Marketing and Advertising:
Contribute to the development and execution of the dealership’s marketing and advertising initiatives. - Customer Relationship Management:
Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a positive experience and promoting the dealership’s brand. - Team Development:
Build and mentor a strong team, driving performance and professional growth through coaching and accountability. - Performance Monitoring:
Track and analyze performance metrics related to sales, customer experience, and team achievements. - Financial Oversight:
Deliver financial results while adhering to dealership accounting practices, budgeting, and expense management. - Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all operations comply with company policies, corporate governance, and safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive dealership sales management. - Education:
Post-secondary education in a related field is a plus. - Leadership Skills:
Proven experience in a leadership role with strong people management, coaching, and mentoring abilities. - Accounting and Budgeting Knowledge:
Strong understanding of dealership accounting practices and financial oversight. - Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. - Organizational Skills:
Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. - Results-Oriented:
A self-motivated and resourceful individual focused on delivering results and driving success. - CRM Software:
Experience with CRM systems or other automotive software is an asset. - Compliance Knowledge:
Understanding of Provincial Safety Code requirements for dealerships.
