Security Site Chief

As a Security Site Chief at Allied Universal, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our premises, assets, and personnel. You will lead a team of security officers, enforce security protocols, and maintain a secure environment.


Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in security.
  • Valid BC Security License.
  • Reliable vehicle and a provisional driver’s license.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada for up to 40 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Vigilant in monitoring CCTV cameras at the location.
  • Experience in logging trucks in a warehouse is an asset.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Physically capable of standing or walking for long periods, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 20 kilograms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of security personnel, ensuring effective patrolling and site security.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with clients, visitors, and employees through exemplary customer service and effective communication.
  • Address and manage security incidents and emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless shift transitions and consistent security coverage.
  • Supervise the day-to-day security operations of the assigned client site.
  • Manage a team of security officers and site/shift supervisors, including hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, and development.
  • Ensure high-quality security services to protect people and property at the client site.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with clients and employees.
  • Coordinate necessary support services to meet or exceed operational goals and provide quality customer service.
  • Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met.
  • Handle escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
  • Perform other supervisory/management responsibilities as determined by leadership.
