Your Challenges
As a Work & Material Planner, you will:
- Define and implement inventory management strategies to improve working capital.
- Collaborate closely with the Logistics-Supply function to establish lean material flows from dock to workstation.
- Develop workshop load plans for the “unpaced” production section.
- Align supply and demand to meet inventory management strategies.
- Document production kits and handling equipment from the loading dock to the workstation.
- Interact with multidisciplinary teams including Logistics-Supply, Methods, Plant Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Quality.
- Participate in improvement projects focused on lean manufacturing and cost reduction.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, industrial engineering, operations and logistics management, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in logistics or production planning.
- Strong interest in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project) and Google Suite (Files, Docs, Slides).
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity in the workplace.
Preferred:
- Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry.
- Familiarity with SAP.
