Responsibilities
As a Trade Support Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Transaction Management
- Modeling Transactions: You will be responsible for accurately modeling complex transactions and negotiated events in our information systems, working closely with the Front Office.
- Quality Control: Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the information entered into our systems.
- Break Analysis: Analyze and resolve discrepancies identified by the Middle Office Control team and other involved parties, ensuring seamless operations from Front to Back.
Coordination and Communication
- Liaison Role: Act as a crucial link between the Front Office and other support functions, including the Middle Office, Back Office, Risk Department, and Finance Department. You will facilitate communication and problem-solving regarding requests for information.
Project Involvement
- Control Framework: Participate in projects aimed at enhancing the security and reliability of our control framework.
- Impact Analysis: Contribute to impact analysis during the development of new activities.
- Tool Development: Help design and improve production tools using VBA and Python, focusing on booking, pricing, and communication enhancements.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Educational Background: You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Financial Markets.
- Experience: A foundational experience in financial markets is essential to understand financial products and processes.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Excel, VBA, and financial mathematics are necessary for this role.
- Team Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills are vital; you should be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Proactive Attitude: Demonstrate initiative and a solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting.
Language Proficiency
- Bilingual Communication: You must be proficient in both French and English, as you will collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
