Wealth Operations Analyst

As a Wealth Operations Analyst, you will play a vital role in client reporting and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. Responsibilities

As a Wealth Operations Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Client Reporting: Generate, validate, and distribute client reports on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc basis, serving as both primary and backup for specific report types.
  2. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot all aspects of the client reporting generation process to ensure timely delivery to clients within service level agreements.
  3. Client Inventory Management: Take ownership of the team’s client inventory review process, ensuring report requirements and recipients are current and that reporting is conducted efficiently.
  4. Strategic Initiatives: Assist with strategic initiatives, including client reporting automation, system enhancements, and improvements in Assets Under Management (AUM) reporting.
  5. System Optimization: Optimize the use of client reporting systems and various applications to deliver a seamless experience for clients.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Analyst Experience: Previous experience in an analyst role, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
  • Task Management: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a complex environment with tight deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong focus and resilience in resolving issues under pressure and in stressful situations.
  • Business Understanding: Basic understanding of business logic and workflows in investment management.
  • Investment Knowledge: General understanding of investment concepts and investment portfolio data.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to the broader team.
  • Adaptability: Strong commitment to change, ongoing development, and flexibility in adapting to new challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail along with strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Technical Experience: Familiarity with operating within a Microsoft Windows environment, preferably in an office setting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Salesforce Experience: Knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
  • Adobe InDesign Experience: Familiarity with Adobe InDesign for report formatting and design.
  • Reporting Experience: Experience in client and institutional reporting or in the fund/wealth management business.
  • Financial Designations: Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or enrollment in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program or other financial industry designation programs.
