As a Senior Systems Integrator, you will provide leadership and direction in designing, integrating, and implementing systems to support organizational initiatives. You will be responsible for offering specialized technical and business consulting services, including Business Process Reviews and Data/Application Architecture Designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management:
- Supervise, motivate, and train staff to ensure teamwork and high-quality work standards.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
- Manage assigned budgets, controlling expenditures within approved limits.
- Project Management:
- Lead the design and implementation of corporate standards, including project management methodologies and data architecture.
- Develop project charters, plans, schedules, and manage progress, risks, and resources.
- Prepare and supervise various formal contractual documents, including RFIs, RFPs, and SLAs.
- Technical Consultation:
- Evaluate and recommend technical solutions and manage vendor relationships.
- Identify and develop initiatives to achieve synergies across divisions.
- Assess new technology trends and their integration into the City’s operations.
- Process Improvement:
- Analyze current business processes and recommend technical solutions to enhance performance.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and quality assurance standards.
- Communication & Education:
- Educate senior management and business users on technology trends and effective use of technology solutions.
Key Qualifications
- Education: Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- Extensive experience with PowerBuilder 2017 or later.
- Extensive experience in Oracle 19c (DDL, DML, PL/SQL) and Harvest Source Change Management v.13 or later.
- Considerable experience with UNIX/Linux, including shell scripts.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
