Systems Integrator (Intermediate)

ZPI, part of ProMach, a leading developer of the Zarpac Performance Index (ZPI) manufacturing performance improvement software, is seeking an Intermediate Systems Integrator to join our innovative team. If you’re passionate about improving packaging performance through industrial automation and systems integration, we want to connect with you. This role offers a hybrid work environment with the opportunity to work remotely for up to three days per week, alongside hands-on, on-site work at client locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of PLC & HMI code to extract and analyze data for system optimization.
  • Establish and troubleshoot communications with various devices via OPC, resolving communication issues as needed.
  • Perform on-site integration and commissioning of the ZPI software suite at client facilities.
  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting of ZPI software, OPC configuration, and related systems during and after installation.
  • Participate in customer calls to review project status, provide feedback, and clarify installation requirements.
  • Utilize interfaces to collect data points and update tracking information within the ZPI program.
  • Offer guidance to end users on the effective use of ZPI software, interpreting results and highlighting issues.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation throughout the integration process.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Industrial Automation, Controls, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation, systems integration, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with PLCs, including Rockwell, Siemens, Modicon, and others.
  • Familiarity with OPC DA/UA protocols, and experience with servers such as Kepware, Ignition, or other OPC platforms.
  • Experience with manufacturing intelligence systems (OEE, MES, LEDS) is highly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in a packaging facility, preferably in the food and beverage sector.
  • Valid passport and ability to travel to the U.S. or internationally as required.
  • Full driver’s license is required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate within a team.
