Spitfire Recruiting is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician (CES) to join our client’s team in Langley, BC. Key Responsibilities
As a Field Service Technician, your primary duties will include:
- Installation and Maintenance: Install, maintain, and remove gas delivery systems and related equipment, including storage tanks, vaporizers, control panels, and telemetry systems.
- Equipment Preparation: Prepare equipment for bulk installations, ensuring everything is set up correctly and efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Manage mobile inventories and related equipment to ensure all tools and parts are readily available.
- Service Calls: Respond to corrective maintenance service calls, ensuring customer installations are operating smoothly and effectively.
- Technical Support: Act as a technical resource by assisting the sales team during customer visits and addressing any technical questions or concerns.
- Supervising Subcontractors: Lead subcontractors in on-site services, including pump repairs, tank painting, and snow removal.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Background: A degree in engineering or technology is preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience (2-4 years in electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration systems).
- Technical Skills: Strong electrical and mechanical skills are essential for this role.
- Familiarity with Systems: Knowledge of welding, brazing, refrigeration, piping, and cryogenics is beneficial. Experience with CO2 systems is a plus.
