Leeco Steel, part of O’Neal Industries, is expanding its operations with a new warehouse in Hamilton, Ontario! We are a global leader in steel plate distribution, working with top steel mills worldwide. As part of our growth, we are hiring a Warehouse Parts Cleaner to join our team.
This entry-level, full-time role offers you the opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Prior experience with overhead cranes and machinery is preferred but not mandatory—we value a positive attitude and willingness to learn. Responsibilities
In this role, your goal is to help manage warehouse inventory and ensure smooth movement of materials. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and Processing Orders: Unload steel plates from flatbeds or railcars and prepare them for storage or shipment.
- Overhead Crane Operations: Safely operate overhead cranes to move materials within the warehouse (training provided if needed).
- Inventory Management: Monitor and update storage areas to align with production needs, shipping schedules, and safety protocols.
- Product Documentation: Keep accurate records of inventory movements and product locations using our internal database.
- Order Preparation: Organize materials for outgoing shipments and ensure all items meet order specifications.
- Troubleshooting & Coordination: Quickly resolve issues during the loading, unloading, or shipping process to avoid delays.
- Inventory Counts: Participate in regular inventory checks and make adjustments to logs as necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff to meet daily distribution goals and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Qualifications

- Experience with Machinery: Prior experience using overhead cranes or other warehouse equipment is preferred but not required.
- Organization Skills: Ability to plan storage and shipment arrangements efficiently.
